I had my college freshman year at Cornell at the school of engineering, then back to Durango for the required "what do I want to do besides work in a restaurant or be an engineer?". Majored in Technical Writing with a minor in Art at Fort Lewis. Moved to Silicon Valley and wrote tedious manuals, then gradually did more marketing and design. Met Ed the husband of almost 20 years in an art class. Started my graphic design business in about 1992 and we moved to Aztec, NM into a cinderblock dive (the start of many years of remodeling and building). Now most of my time is in Farmington, NM, with part time in Ajo, Az, and part time near Dove Creek, CO.
